Export readable HTML, JSON or PDF
Understand which files are encrypted before you share them.
Backup → A readable copy offers HTML for reading or printing and JSON for moving structured journal data. Family tools provide their own PDF or HTML reports.
These readable files are NOT encrypted. The app asks you to confirm before creating them. Choose a private destination and review the saved file before forwarding it.
Import journal JSON accepts Kavanah’s supported journal data format. Preserve the current journal first and read the replacement confirmation. A PDF or arbitrary JSON file is not a full journal backup.
Exported files remain wherever you saved or sent them. Removing a record in Kavanah does not remove an exported file from Drive, Downloads, email or a recipient’s device.
