Delete records and understand retained copies
You control local records and the copies you export.
Use the relevant Delete action and read the confirmation. Cancel leaves the record in place. Check collections and generated books because a book can hold its own copies.
Uninstalling the Android app or clearing its storage removes its local journal. Clearing the website’s site data removes that browser’s journal. Make and verify a backup first if anything should be retained.
Backups, decrypted files, provider packages and copies already sent to another person must be managed separately. Kavanah cannot remotely erase those files.
New offline journals have no server account to close. Earlier hosted records follow the separate ownership-verified transition process described in Moving from the earlier service.
