Set a local reminder
Choose a time and allow notifications if you want alerts.
Open Reminders, enter the reminder and choose its date and time. Save it and check that the reminder appears in the list.
Allow Android notifications when asked. If you declined earlier, enable notifications for Kavanah in Android Settings. Your journal remains usable when notifications are disabled.
Reminders run on this device. Android battery restrictions, device shutdown and notification settings can delay or hide an alert; the app does not guarantee an exact alarm time.
Check the saved time and device time zone if an alert is unexpected. Browser reminders appear when you open Kavanah and do not send background alerts; use a separate calendar for essential appointments.
