If you used the earlier hosted version

Your earlier hosted journal is not automatically copied into this browser or the new Android app. An empty journal here does not mean your earlier records were deleted.

The earlier service has been retired from public access. Its retained records and recovery backups are preserved separately for an ownership-verified export. Contact contact@autosecurelogin.com about your earlier journal. Do not send your journal, passwords or recovery keys by email.

Keep any previous exports and their matching recovery information. Formats from the hosted version may need conversion before the new app can import them; do not erase the originals.

If you already use the offline version

Open Backup & privacy and select your matching .kjbackup and .kjkey files, then enter their password. You can also use the independent recovery page. Keep the matching key file and password safely: even we cannot decrypt a new offline backup without both.

Journal entries created in this version stay on the device. Each device has its own journal until you deliberately export and restore a backup.
